In 2024, the regional enterprises and business owners obtained over RUB 23 billion rubles in loans from financial institutions. This represents an increase of 18.4% compared to 2023.

Among the most active borrowers, construction companies stood out, accounting for 29% of the total loan volume granted to businesses at the beginning of 2025. The amount reached RUB 6.7 billion, primarily driven by the surge in demand for residential construction projects in response to increased tourist traffic.

By the beginning of January 2025, the loan portfolio for enterprises and entrepreneurs in Dagestan amounted to RUB 44.5 billion, representing a 23.5% increase compared to the previous year. The majority of these obligations were concentrated in sectors such as manufacturing, construction and agriculture.
