A large-scale project for the comprehensive redevelopment of the territory formerly occupied by a hippodrome has commenced in Makhachkala. The project implies the creation of the first urban district in the city that is fully equipped with state-of-the-art social and engineering infrastructure.
Currently, there is a school for 1,244 places and a kindergarten for 200 children. In the future, it is anticipated that additional facilities will be constructed, including:

- A school with a capacity of 800 pupils
- Two kindergartens with 250 places each
- A sports and recreation centre
- A centre for supplementary education
- Non-residential spaces on the ground floors of residential buildings
- Housing for individuals in need
- Landscaping, encompassing a park area

To guarantee a comfortable living experience for the residents of this new district, a comprehensive engineering infrastructure will be established, comprising:

- New water supply systems
- Electrical power distribution networks
- Gas supply lines.

The developer Caspiy JSC will construct internal networks at its own cost and transfer them to the ownership of the republic or resource supplying organizations gratuitously. Currently, documentation for the territory planning is being prepared.
