Analysts of the "Honest Sign" labelling system have ranked the country's regions on the basis of data on footwear production for 2023. According to last year's results, Dagestan took the fourth place in the rating of boot production in Russia - more than 2 million pairs of boots were produced in the region last year.

The leaders in boot production were Moscow (9.6 million pairs) and St Petersburg (3.7 million pairs), in first and second place respectively. Rostov region (2.1 million pairs) and Moscow region (1.9 million pairs) were also in the top five.

The weighted average price of footwear in Dagestan remained at the same level. Looking at the data for 2022, the average pair of boots cost buyers 2,722 RUB. In 2023, the figure was 2718 RUB.
