Dagestan has emerged as the leader among Russian regions in terms of submitting applications for funding of tourism infrastructure projects, with a total request exceeding RUB 90 billion. Among the projects submitted, Dagestan accounts for 16%. Krasnodar Territory, Moscow Region and Kemerovo Region also demonstrated strong performance in terms of application volume. In terms of the funding requested, Dagestan, Kemerovo Region and Krasnodar Territory occupied top positions. The majority of applications were focused on constructing new tourist facilities such as 4- and 5-star hotels.
