In the early months of 2025, a total of over 308,000 tomato seedlings were transported to Dagestan for cultivation in greenhouse farms, under the oversight of the regional branch of Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation). Within the initial two weeks of March, a remarkable 30,000 of these young tomato plants were received from Sredneakhtubinsky district of Volgograd Region.

The inspection process verified that all documentation and quarantine regulations were strictly adhered to.
