Kamil Chutuyev's personal photographic exhibition "My Highlanders, My Mountains" has opened March 18 in Gamzatov Museum of Fine Arts in Dagestan. The exhibition will run until April 27.

This exhibition project features over 60 works, encompassing landscapes, psychological portraits and narratives of life in mountainous regions. The author’s vision of the world is conveyed through colourful photographs. The ability to draw the subject closer to the viewer and the deep lyricism in exploring ordinary subjects are the distinctive features of Chutuyev’s works.

Chutuev delves into the realm of simple, elemental archetypes such as mountains, water and sky, while also exploring the lives of the people residing in region. His photographs are characterized by a meticulous attention to spatial composition, seeking to reveal the human dimensions and fates embedded within each image.
