An event dedicated to the 90th birthday of the Russian traveller Yevgeny Gvozdev has taken place in the historical park "Russia - My History".  Gvozdev's relatives and friends, schoolchildren and students attended the event. Master classes on ship modelling, lectures, quizzes and thematic excursions have been organized for the guests.

The key event was a teleconference with Irina Gvozdeva, the traveller’s granddaughter from Switzerland. She shared her childhood memories and noted that it was important to the family that the legendary circumnavigation should not be forgotten and that the memory of Evgeny Gvozdev should be kept alive.

It was no coincidence that the Historical Park was chosen as the venue for the event, as the yacht "Said", on which Gvozdev completed his "circumnavigation" found its final resting place in the museum's foyer.
