The Republic of Dagestan has attracted RUB 29.3 billion in investment during the first nine months of 2025, signaling strong economic momentum, the regional Prime Minister Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov announced. These funds are allocated across six strategic priorities, including the development of the Caspian tourism cluster, expansion of the agro-industrial complex and the launch of the Novolakskaya Wind Power Plant.
To date, six major projects have already mobilized a total of RUB 83.5 billion and created over 3,200 jobs. The first phase of the Novolakskaya Wind Power Plant, comprising 61 turbines, is operational, with its second stage scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
Looking forward, Dagestan’s investment portfolio is projected to grow to RUB 584.2 billion, with the potential to generate approximately 20,800 new jobs. This planned expansion reinforces the republic's steady transition toward a diversified and modern economy.
