Dagestan Specialists to Be Involved in Maintenance and Repair of Foreign Aircrafts

MAKHACHKALA, February 27 – RIA "Dagestan". The development of an aircraft maintenance facility at Makhachkala Airport remains underway in the republic. The Yakovlev JSC, part of Rostec's United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), develops cooperation with local educational institutions for specialist training.

As to Magomed Amirkhanov, deputy director general for Ground Handling at Makhachkala Airport JSC, the targeted training agreements have been signed with Dagestan State Technical University and the Caspian College for Mechanical Engineering and Service. Remind, in June 2025, the company opened an inflatable frame hangar for a line maintenance station at Makhachkala Airport.
