MAKHACHKALA, February 11 – RIA “Dagestan”. The regional Economic Development Ministry has convened a meeting to review the implementation of the federal state program “Development of the North Caucasian Federal District” for 2026. The First Deputy Minister Adilkhan Akhmedov participated via videoconference alongside colleagues from other North Caucasian regions, discussing progress on planned activities and the efficient use of allocated budget resources.
This year, Dagestan has received funding totaling over RUB 2.57 billion for five capital construction projects. These include the reconstruction of the road and utility network in the village of Novokuli (Novolaksky District), construction of sewage treatment facilities in the town of Dagestanskiye Ogni, construction of a sports palace and an embankment in Derbent and an annex to Novokulinskaya Secondary School No. 2.
Four facilities are scheduled to be commissioned in 2026: the reconstructed Kaitag-Derbent water pipeline, upgraded wastewater disposal systems in Dagestanskiye Ogni, the embankment in Derbent and the school annex in the village of Novokuli.
