MAKHACHKALA, April 1 – RIA Dagestan. Experts from the Russian Research Institute of Land Reclamation Problems and the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Plodorodie” have arrived in Dagestan to conduct a comprehensive assessment of spring flood impacts, evaluating land reclamation systems and hydraulic structures and to develop recommendations for cleanup and operational restoration.
Work is currently underway in Karabudakhkentsky, Kayakentsky and Derbentsky municipal districts, as well as along the KOR Canal in Makhachkala. By week's end, inspections are planned for the Babayurtovsky, Kizilyurtovsky and Khasavyurtovsky districts.
Upon completion, proposals will be submitted to the regional Ministry of Agriculture aimed at strengthening land reclamation infrastructure and preventing future incidents. The inspection is being carried out in coordination with specialists from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Dagmeliovodkhoz Management”.
