Industrial Production in Dagestan Grows by 3.6% Over 5 Months

MAKHACHKALA, July 3 – RIA "Dagestan". For the period from January to May 2026, Dagestan achieved an industrial production index of 103.6%. The most substantial contribution came from the electricity and gas sector, which reached 118.3%, followed by mining at 111.2% and manufacturing at 101.3%. As to regional government officials, the industrial enterprises generated RUB 47.8 billion in finished products, reflecting a 120.9% growth year-over-year. Specifically, the glass, furniture and metal product sectors accounted for the largest share of these shipments.
