MAKHACHKALA, January 29 – RIA “Dagestan”. Key engineering and transport infrastructure design work has been completed for Dagestan's largest tourism initiative—the Caspian Coastal Cluster. State expert review approvals have been obtained for the construction of four regional road sections totaling 24.8 kilometers and design documentation for water supply infrastructure across the entire cluster territory has been finalized.
Preparations are also underway for connection to gas distribution networks. A tripartite agreement to facilitate this process has been signed among the development institution "Kavkaz.RF," Gazprom Gas Distribution Dagestan and Gazprom Gazifikatsiya.
To date, 25 investment agreements have been signed, with total committed capital amounting to 112 billion rubles and plans to develop 7,476 hotel rooms. Of these, 16 are resident agreements covering 18 specific projects valued at 60 billion rubles (3,492 rooms). An additional nine letters of intent have been signed with prospective residents for the implementation of 13 further projects.
