MAKHACHKALA, August 4 – RIA "Dagestan". In July, the cost per square meter for new housing in Makhachkala grew by 9.3% to RUB 79,000, according to an analysis by the "Mir Kvartir" federal portal. The report covers 70 Russian cities, reflecting price increases in 60 locations. Sochi experiences a comparable surge of 9.6%, bringing its average to RUB 464,500. Significant price reductions occurred in Grozny (–8.4%) and Krasnodar (–4.1%), where averages stood at RUB 128,360 and 161,820 respectively.
The nationwide average for primary housing climbed 2.8% during the same period to reach RUB 164,600 rubles per square meter.
