MAKHACHKALA, February 18 – RIA "Dagestan". Magomedzagid Kikhasurov, Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Republic of Dagestan, visited Ozon's largest logistics center in the Northern Caucasus, located in the "Tyube" industrial park in Kumtorkalinsky District. During the visit, the top official discussed employment mechanisms for local residents and the creation of new jobs, with particular focus on retraining programs, internship opportunities for graduates of vocational colleges and universities and social guarantees for employees.
Timur Orazberdiev, Director of the logistics center, presented the production capacity of the first phase, the automated warehouse management system, employee working conditions and social infrastructure, as well as expansion plans to reach 125,000 square meters. Currently, approximately 500 local residents are employed at the facility. With the upcoming launch of the second phase an additional 1,000 workers will be required. To facilitate recruitment, an agreement has been reached between the republican employment centers and the logistics center for coordinated personnel selection.
Ozon provides in-house training for new hires in in-demand specialties such as logistics operations, warehouse management, and order processing. Recruitment is conducted through the company's special Ozon Job mobile application.
