MAKHACHKALA, July 25 – RIA "Dagestan". 71 producers have received "Dagestan Product" certificate in the first half of 2026, confirming compliance with regional quality standards under the oversight of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory. Procurement guidelines now recommend favoring certified suppliers when awarding food contracts to ensure product safety and authenticity.
To further increase market transparency, the republican authorities accelerate adoption of the "Chestny Znak" digital marking system. Joint outreach with the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies aims to educate producers on registration requirements and system participation.
Additionally, targeted measures are being implemented to promote locally made goods and broaden their distribution to schools, hospitals and other social facilities throughout Dagestan.
