MAKHACHKALA, February 24 – RIA "Dagestan". The first building of the Ozon warehouse complex opened in Dagestan in 2025, is expected to become an integral part of the developing North-South transport corridor. The facility may serve as a logistics hub for the transportation and delivery of goods to Azerbaijan.
The launch of the initial stage of the warehouse and sorting complex in the settlement of Tyube required an investment of over RUB 14 billion.
The second facility of what will become the largest Ozon logistics center in the Northern Caucasus is scheduled to begin operations in Kumtorkalinsky municipal district of Dagestan in the second quarter of 2026. Once operational, it will have the capacity to process up to 900,000 orders per day.
As part of the project's second stage, four new blocks with a combined area of 70,000 square meters will be built. Upon full completion, the facility will offer storage capacity for up to 30 million items, and its workforce will grow from 500 to 1,500 employees.
