MAKHACHKALA, August 7 – RIA "Dagestan". According to Rosstat, the total revenues for health resorts in the North Caucasian Federal District reached RUB 26.8 billion in the first six months of 2026, up 4.2% from the same period last year. Regional performance varied significantly, with Kabardino-Balkaria achieving an 81% revenue increase and Stavropol Krai growing by 3.2%, whereas Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia posted declines of 3%, 32%, and 26%, respectively. Nationally, the sector demonstrated stronger growth as overall sanatorium revenues across Russia rose 13% to RUB 116.2 billion during the same timeframe.
