At the Digital Industry Process Innovations (CIPR) forum, Rostelecom and Astra Consulting signed a cooperation agreement focused on information technology, digital transformation and import substitution.
The partnership will combine the companies' expertise to implement joint projects and deploy domestic technological solutions across the full IT project lifecycle. Under the agreement, the partners will establish working groups, identify pilot initiatives, and create competence centers to share best practices and train specialists. Particular attention will be given to enterprises in the shipbuilding and aviation sectors, where information security and operational reliability are critical.
Boris Sobolev, the Vice President for Federal Corporate Clients at Rostelecom, stated that the collaboration would enable the market to access coordinated technological chains for import substitution. AS to Timurbulat Sultanagliev, Director General of Astra Consulting, the partners intend to jointly explore new products and services leveraging Rostelecom's infrastructure. Specific solutions will be determined following the results of pilot projects, with both companies viewing the agreement as a significant step toward developing standardized industry technologies.
