MAKHACHKALA, April 10 – RIA Dagestan. Evgeny Morozov, Managing Director of Dagestan Branch of the Sberbank PJSC announced the rollout of mobile banking units in the region. These mobile banking units operate as itinerant service hubs, delivering comprehensive financial services to underserved and remote locations, thereby bridging the accessibility gap where fixed-branch infrastructures are sparse or impractical.
Currently, two such mobile units have been deployed: one stationed in the village of Mamedkala at 22 Nariman Aliev Street and another in the village of Gedzhukh at 9 Lenin Street.
These mobile offices offer the full spectrum of retail banking services analogous to those available at permanent branch locations. Additionally, banking professionals will extend their support by servicing temporary accommodation centers for internally displaced persons.
Dagestani Prime Minister Abdulmuslimov has urged Sberbank’s leadership to scale the deployment of these mobile banking units to encompass Derbentsky and Khasavyurtovsky Districts, enhancing financial accessibility in these areas.
