MAKHACHKALA, February 11 – RIA “Dagestan”. This year, two new shopping centers are expected to open in the capital of Dagestan, with a combined leasable area exceeding 37,500 square meters. The facilities include the district shopping center “Pervy” (25,000 sq. m) and the shopping center “Flagman” (12,500 sq. m). According to “Expert-Yug”, citing Evgeniya Khakberdieva, Regional Director of the Retail Real Estate Department at NF GROUP, Dagestan is poised to become a key hub for retail real estate development in the Northern Caucasus.
Four retail facilities with a total area of 66,100 sq. m are scheduled to be commissioned across the North Caucasian Federal District in 2026. Apart from the two centers in Makhachkala, these include the shopping center “Kislorod” in Kislovodsk (16,000 sq. m) and “Park Plaza” in Magas (12,600 sq. m).
