KAZAN, June 18 – RIA "Dagestan". The State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble of Dagestan "Lezginka" performed on the stage of the G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater in Kazan the day before. The event took place as part of the gala reception hosted by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in honor of the leaders and heads of delegations of the Fifth Anniversary Russia–ASEAN Summit.
Dzhambulat Magomedov, the ensemble's artistic director and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, highlighted the profound significance of performing in front of the President and international guests. He noted that the troupe showcased Russian culture at the highest level, a fact personally acknowledged by Vladimir Putin. Furthermore, the performance served as a cultural bridge, introducing foreign delegates from Southeast Asian nations to the rich traditional heritage of the Caucasus.
