Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra, one of the leading musical teams in Russia, will make a historic debut in Dagestan on October 9th. The concert, conducted by artistic director and principal conductor Ivan Nikiforchin, will take place at the stage of Dagestan State Opera and Ballet Theatre, where the orchestra will perform works by renowned composers.
The concert program features renowned works by Russian composers Dmitri Shostakovich ("Festive Overture"), Sergei Rachmaninoff (Second Piano Concerto), and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov ("Scheherazade" symphonic suite). This performance signifies the inauguration of a novel era in musical collaboration between the two regions.
