MAKHACHKALA, September 30 – RIA "Dagestan". Abdurakhman Makhmudov, Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan, chaired a meeting of the project management committee for the "Family" national project. The participants reviewed the implementation progress and the interim outcomes of the associated regional initiatives.
It was reported that, within the preschool education sector, the construction of six kindergartens in Derbent and Kaspiysk is scheduled to commence this year, with their commissioning planned for 2027. Furthermore, six additional kindergartens have already undergone major renovations and outfitting in Kayakentsky and Khasavyurtovsky districts, as well as in the towns of Kaspiysk and Kizilyurt.
Currently, 20 cultural facilities are undergoing major renovations, modernization, and technical outfitting. The development of model libraries is also ongoing, and the extensive renovation of the R. Gamzatov National Library of Dagestan has been successfully completed. Provisions have been made to restore two cultural institutions damaged by the spring floods: the House of Culture in the village of Adilotar (Khasavyurtovsky District) and the inter-municipal cultural center in the village of Tagirkent-Kazmalyar (Magaramkentsky District).
Under the "Protecting Motherhood and Childhood" initiative, three women's health clinics have been opened at Novolaksky, Sergokalinsky and Kaytagsky central district hospitals. Three additional clinics are scheduled to open in 2027 in the Tarumovsky, Untsukulsky and Kumtorkalinsky districts.
Special attention was directed toward the completion of major renovations at kindergartens and cultural institutions, the deployment of modular women's health clinics, and the procurement of advanced medical technology for perinatal centers and the regional maternity hospital.
