The discussion involved Daginform Head Arsen Yusupov, representatives from the Information Policy Directorate and a Channel One Russia crew. The meeting reviewed a draft support package based on an initiative from NTV war correspondent Omar Magomedov. The proposal includes direct financial and material aid, along with a system of benefits and compensations to acknowledge the specific risks faced by frontline journalists.
Participants provided recommendations to refine the draft, aiming to create timely and effective support for media professionals in combat zones.
