MAKHACHKALA, August 6 – RIA "Dagestan". The final phase of the Chirkey–Makhachkala–Kaspiysk main water pipeline has recieved state expert approval for its external power and automation components, reversing an earlier negative assessment from March. Registered on August 5, this milestone advances the 2022–2026 infrastructure project financed by a federal budget loan to construct a 78-kilometer pipeline capable of delivering 176,000 cubic meters of water per day. Once operational, the system will serve over 900,000 residents and allow the complete decommissioning of the October Revolution Canal from the municipal water supply.
