MAKHACHKALA, September 29 – RIA "Dagestan". Six regions in Russia's North Caucasian Federal District are in line to receive more than RUB 5.5 billion next year to boost key areas of their agricultural sectors, a new Russian Government decree runs.
The financial injections for 2026 will see Kabardino-Balkaria receiving the lion's share in the district with RUB 1.8 billion, followed closely by Stavropol Krai with RUB 1.6 billion and Dagestan with RUB 1.2 billion. The remaining funds will be distributed among Karachay-Cherkessia (RUB 521 million), North Ossetia (RUB 316.9 million) and Ingushetia (RUB 85 million).
On a national scale, the Russian Government plans to distribute over RUB 35.2 billion in subsidies to regional budgets across the country to support priority agricultural initiatives in 2026.
