MAKHACHKALA, August 10 – RIA "Dagestan". More than 13,000 Makhachkala graduates completed state assessments in 2026, demonstrating higher average scores in core subjects and improved performance metrics.
Operational capacity was enhanced through 35 secure examination sites managed by approximately 4,800 organizers and technical specialists. The campaign achieved a 96.6% pass rate, marking the lowest non-admission figure in recent years and a decrease in required retakes.
High achievement grew substantially, with 595 students scoring above 80 points and 23 earning perfect marks across multiple disciplines.
Enrollment trends reflected growing demand for medicine, IT and engineering, evidenced by double-digit percentage increases in STEM subject participation.
Education Department Head Shagane Baimurzaeva emphasized systemic knowledge gains and announced strategic initiatives including venue expansion and digital diagnostic integration.
