Power engineers of Dagenergo (branch of Rosseti across Northern Caucasus), continue to eliminate local technological failures at 6-20 kV power facilities caused by deteriorating weather conditions in Dagestan. By 14:00 the work of 202 power facilities was restored: six power lines and 196 transformer points.
No technological violations were recorded at medium and high voltage class power facilities (35-110 kV). Specialists managed to eliminate breaks on three power lines in Makhachkala and restore power supply to some consumers. Damages were also localized on three sections of power lines in Derbent and Magarakemkent districts.
At present, power engineers continue to work on elimination of network failures in order to promptly return light to the homes of consumers in some settlements of Magaramkent, Derbent, Karabudakhkent, Kizlyar and Babayurtovsky districts of Dagestan, as well as the cities of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk and Makhachkala. Restoration work is complicated by incessant rain and strong wind gusts.
Earlier, Dagenergo branch introduced a special operating mode due to worsening weather conditions. To promptly respond to the consequences of bad weather, the number of teams involved was increased to 26. 78 specialists and 31 units of special equipment were involved in the elimination of technological violations.
