TULA REGION, August 19 – RIA Dagestan. A Dagestani delegation is participating in the All-Russian "I Am in Agro" competition in Tula Region. The final stage of the event has brought together representatives ща the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Russian Union of Youth, along with around 700 young scientists, agricultural entrepreneurs, students and schoolchildren from 50 regions across the country. The republican delegation includes entrepreneurs and graduate students from Dagestan State Agrarian University.
The event features the All-Russian youth agricultural project "AgroPromotion," which includes educational and business programs covering agronomy, breeding, hydroponics, robotics, agribusiness and biotechnology. The competition program consists of five team challenges and a "Fair of Regions", where each participating region showcases its unique products.
Dagestan team brought traditional regional products to the Tula Region, including dried meat and sausages, sheep's cheese, natural urbech, fruit juices, honey and mountain tea, as well as fresh pears and kiwis.
According to Arsen Magomedov, a senior lecturer at Dagestan State Agrarian University and deputy director of the non-profit organization "Academy of Good", Dagestan booth has been the most visited at the fair since the very first day, with the products proving highly popular among guests and forum participants.
The results of the "I Am in Agro" competition will be announced on August 21. The winning team will receive a grant to implement municipal improvement and development projects in their home region, while the top finalists will receive investment and expert support for their initiatives.
