On December 17 - 19 over 600 representatives from 487 universities and their branches across Russia—including institutions from historical regions—convened in Moscow for a national congress focused on shaping the future of educational and youth policy in higher education. Dagestan State Technical University (DSTU) was represented by Rumina Ashuralieva, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work.
The congress reviewed the outcomes of youth policy implementation and educational activities in universities for 2025, highlighted key achievements, and established strategic priorities for the year ahead. A unified strategy for educational work in Russian universities for 2026 was adopted, incorporating mechanisms for collaboration with government bodies and external partners, as well as the integration of successful regional practices.
“The Congress became an important platform for sharing experiences and strengthening ties between universities, as well as for assessing the results achieved and defining the strategy for further development of youth policy” - Ashuralieva remarked.
