Dagestan Student Named Finalist in International "No Statute of Limitations" Competition

MOSCOW, May 8 – RIA "Dagestan." Aminat Alkhilaeva, a second-year student at M.M. Medzhidov Professional-Pedagogical College in Izberbash, Dagestan, has been named a finalist in the International Essay Competition "No Statute of Limitations" and awarded at the Museum of Victory in Moscow.

This year, the project brought together a record number of participants—over 500,000 applications were submitted, with 92 authors from Russian regions and friendly countries advancing to the finals.

The regional stage was organized by the Center for General Education Development, with support from Dagestan's Ministry of Education and Science, based at Dagestan Institute for Education Development. A total of 120 works from municipal round winners were submitted to the expert jury. Following review, 21 participants received diplomas as winners and prize-winners across various age categories.

Aminat Alkhilaeva represented Dagestan at the final events in Moscow. Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, congratulated participants on the upcoming Victory Day and noted that since its inception, the project united more than 7 million people. The Minister presented diplomas and commemorative gifts to the finalists, as well as letters of appreciation to teacher-mentors for their contributions to the patriotic education of youth.
