MOSCOW, February 27 – РИА Dagestan. The IV Forum of Future Technologies, held in Moscow in the International Trade Center, focused on advancing Russia’s bioeconomy and was attended by State Duma Deputy Jamaladin Gasanov and Dagestan State University Rector Murtazali Rabadanov.
The event opened with a scientific conference “Bioeconomy for Humanity” featuring addresses by Mikhail Kovalchuk (President of the Institute), Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, and Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, with Kovalchuk emphasizing the shift toward technologies inspired by living nature.
The forum’s highlight was a plenary session with President Vladimir Putin, who identified biotechnology as a strategic tool for tackling global issues like climate change and food security. Rabadanov underscored the alignment between the forum’s goals and DSU’s mission, stressing the vital role of universities in driving regional innovation and addressing both technological and socio-humanitarian challenges.
