MAKHACHKALA, May 7 – RIA "Dagestan." In 2026, 1,242 schools across Dagestan will receive modern equipment for physics, music and fine arts classrooms under the regional project "Everything Best for Children" part of the national project "Youth and Children". The total budget allocated for the initiative amounts to RUB 167.046 million, with three main contracts totaling RUB 159.93 million already signed.
Alexander Reut, Director of the General Education Policy Department at Russia's Ministry of Education, noted that approximately 20,000 educational institutions nationwide will receive equipment subsidies this year. Schools were selected based on a targeted support principle—prioritizing those that have not previously received similar upgrades—as part of efforts to create a unified educational space with improved conditions for implementing curricula.
The ministry also announces that in 2027, equipment upgrades will expand to mathematics, chemistry and biology classrooms, coinciding with the introduction of updated Federal State Educational Standards (FSES) for secondary general education. This phased approach aims to systematically modernize infrastructure across Russian schools while ensuring equitable access to quality educational resources.
