MAKHACHKALA, May 5 – RIA "Dagestan." More than 70 applications have been submitted during the first week of registration for the II Media Security Forum "Digital Caucasus" scheduled for May 28–31, 2026, in Dagestan.
Registration remains open until May 19 at цифровойкавказ.рф, with participation based on competitive selection evaluating professional experience, media activity and case-task responses. The program includes lectures from media security experts, panel discussions, practical sessions and digital hygiene masterclasses.
The central theme is media security, covering fake news countermeasures, destructive content prevention, legal aspects and fact-checking tools. This year's participants include representatives from the Northern Caucasus, Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts.
