MAKHACHKALA, August 6 – RIA "Dagestan". The results of the first 2026 grant competition for civic initiatives by non-profit organizations in Dagestan have been finalized following a Coordination Council meeting chaired by Acting Deputy Chairman Abdurakhman Makhmudov.
Forty-four projects received a total of RUB 71.7 million, focusing on areas such as patriotic education, interethnic harmony, support for special military operation participants, youth sports and traditional arts.
Notable recipients include "Unified Family – Unity of the Peoples of Levashinsky District" (nearly RUB 2 million) for fostering intercultural ties among youth; "SVOi at Home" (over RUB 1.9 million) for psychological and social adaptation assistance to the families of Special Military Operation veterans and "Threads of Heritage" (over RUB 1.8 million) to preserve Kubachi gold embroidery through youth training.
