MOSCOW, August 10 – RIA "Dagestan". Khava Gimbatova, a sixth-grade student at A. Bizhanov Kharikolinsky School in Khunzakhsky District of Dagestan, won the second place at the All-Russian "Planet is Our Heritage" competition in Moscow. She won in the "Ecotourism: A Trail Near Home — Travel Across Russia" category under the mentorship of Deputy Director Zumurat Magomedova.
The contest aims to cultivate ecological culture, promote sustainable development principles and expand youth knowledge of green economy technologies.
Participants engaged with best practices for reducing carbon impact and exchanged experiences in environmental protection and closed-cycle economics. Beyond academic achievement, Gimbatova networked with State Duma deputies and public figures while forming new peer connections.
Project defenses occurred at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, with awards presented at the Civic Chamber. All winners will be listed in the GIR talanty.rf national database.
