Approx. RUB 5 Billion To Be Allocated for Sports Development in Dagestan

MAKHACHKALA, February 27 – РИА Dagestan. In 2026, the republican budget will allocate RUB 4.9 billion for the development of physical culture and sports in Dagestan, as announced by Minister of Sports Sajid Sajidov during a ministry board meeting at the “Russia – My History” historical park. This marks a steady increase from RUB 3.9 billion in 2024 and RUB 4.7 billion in 2025, reflecting the republic’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing sports despite current challenges.
