MAKHACHKALA, March 5 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan national team will compete at the Russian Junior Belt Wrestling Championship for athletes aged 18–20, to be held on March 12 in Cherkessk. The republic will be represented by 24 athletes, team coach Aslambek Khasaev says.
According to team coach Aslambek Khasaev, Dagestan will field a full-strength squad at the Russian Junior Belt Wrestling Championship, presenting three athletes in each weight category. The 24-member team comprises competitors with proven success at national and international competitions, including medalists of Russian and world championships.
The roster features Idris Magomedov, Magomed Khabibov, Abdugapur Gasanov, Zaur Rasulov and Khadizhat Aldanova among its ranks.
