CHEBOKSARY, July 28 – RIA "Dagestan". Veteran of the special military operation from Dagestan Ali Khalilov became a medalist at the first All-Russian Athletics Competitions for persons with musculoskeletal impairments among SMO veterans.
The tournament finished in Cheboksary at the "Olimpiysky" Stadium. More than 130 participants from 28 regions of Russia, as well as a team from the Central Sports Club of the Army, took part in the event.
Ali Khalilov won two medals: a silver medal in the shot-put discipline and a bronze medal in the discus throw. The competitions aim at developing adaptive sports and supporting veterans of the special military operation who continue to actively engage in physical culture and sports.
