This year, the Oruskhanova farm nursery in Khasavyurtovsky municipal district is expected to produce more than 200 thousand seedlings, which will be used for intensive orchard planting. The nursery specializes in growing high-quality seedlings for a variety of fruit crops, including cherry, apple, apricot, and plum.

The total area of the nursery is approximately 10 hectares. The quality of the seedling and rootstock is monitored by experts, as well as their adaptation to the local climate and soil conditions. Besides, the agro-technical work is carefully controlled. There are currently six nurseries in Dagestan, and in 2023, they produced nearly 1.4 million seedlings. Approximately 90% of these seedlings were cultivated locally in Dagestan.
