For the last 3 years the regional authorities have allocated land plots without tenders to 21 investment projects, the regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments reports. In 2023, land plots for lease without bidding with a total area of 1.3 thousand hectares were granted to 7 large-scale investment projects with a total investment portfolio of approx. 3 billion rubles.

Over two years, 2.4 thousand hectares of land were allocated for 14 investment projects with total financing of 31 billion rubles. The lands were allocated for projects to plant orchards, produce food products as well as to build agricultural storage facilities.

In 2023 alone, the region implemented priority investment projects with total investments of RUB 8 billion, which would create over 700 jobs.
