An Azerbaijani company is going to plant more than 50 hectares of fruit orchards in Dagestan and build facilities for processing the products. The corresponding agreement has been signed in Derbent by the representatives of Azerbaijani company ISFA and Dagestan S.R.Plast.

The document provides for joint implementation of projects in the field of horticulture. In particular, it is planned to plant orchards of peaches, cherries, nectarines, olives and alycha on the area of 53 hectares, as well as to create a nursery of seedlings and olive processing facilities.

Investments in the project will amount to RUB 150 million, Ruslan Abaskuliev, director of the Export Support Center of Dagestan says.
