The details of this initiative have been discussed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan and an Azerbaijani company that intends to invest in the project. It is expected that the Azerbaijani company AZPROMO will become one of the project participants. AZPROMO takes interest in the glass industry of the region as well.
Besides, the company's management is considering issue to invest in the creation of a network of transport and logistics centers along motorways in Dagestan.

The project to build a mining and processing plant in Kumtorkalinsky municipal district is estimated at 460 million roubles. The planned production volume is 300 thousand tons of silica sand per year.
