As to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Dagestan expects to receive almost 2 million tourists in 2024. This is an 8.5% increase compared to the last year indices with approx. 1.75 million visitors. The goal of attracting at least 1.9 million visitors is expected to contribute to the growth of regional tourism industry and have a positive impact on the local economy.
