According to a report by PromRating analytical agency, Dagestan emerged as the Russian region with the most affordable diesel fuel prices in April 2025. The average cost per liter in Dagestan was recorded at RUB 63.07.

Furthermore, neighboring North Caucasian republics also exhibited favorable pricing for motorists, securing positions within the top five most budget-friendly regions. These include the Chechen Republic (RUB 63.17), Ingushetia (RUB 64.22), and North Ossetia (RUB 64.24).

Conversely, the Republic of Sakha-Yakutia reported the highest diesel fuel prices in Russia, with an average cost of RUB 92.87 per liter.
