The Republic of Dagestan has reported a 63% increase in the export of Caspian fish products for the first three quarters of 2025, according to Khadizhat Shamkhalova, Head of the republic's Fisheries Committee. Citing data from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), Shamkhalova revealed that exports grew from 753 tons in the previous year to 1,200 tons in the current reporting period. The products are primarily delivered to markets in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Belarus.
