Dagestan glass ball factory Kaspiy Glass LLC intends to supply finished products to the Uzbek market, the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade informs. Besides, according to the ministry official, it is also planned to expand cooperation and supplies to Belarus in 2024. The glass spheres are used to produce glass fiber in the defense industry. After the launch of this production in Dagestan, the import substitution of foreign products was ensured. It is noted that earlier the glass spheres were supplied from Germany and China.
