The Agris company implements an investment project in Tarumovsky municipal district of the Republic with the aim of developing 900 hectares of rice paddies and establishing rice processing facilities. In 2024, the company had sown rice on 470 hectares, resulting in an average yield of 70 kilograms per hectare for the harvested rice crop. This achievement represents the highest yield of rice in Dagestan for the year.

At present, the investor finalizes the construction of rice engineering systems covering an area of 530 hectares on previously abandoned lands. Taking into account crop rotation, the agricultural enterprise plans to plant rice on an area exceeding 900 hectares. Besides, the enterprise has acquired modern and energy-efficient tractors valued at approximately RUB 500 million.

The agro-investor has now commenced the construction of a rice processing facility with a capacity of 5 tons per hour. The team of Agris LLC, a young and ambitious group, is committed to achieving its goals through the implementation of best agricultural practices and innovative approaches, the company's chief executive officer says.
