The «Development of the Glass Industry Cluster» project in Dagestan envisages the implementation of five subprojects with a combined cost of RUB 9.4 billion. This initiative is expected to result in the creation of 987 new jobs in the region.  

The subprojects encompass the production of glass spheres for the manufacture of glass strands, textile fibers, glass containers, ceramic granite tiles and construction materials.

Moreover, the republic is actively pursuing the «City of Shoemakers» project, which encompasses the construction and upgrading of footwear factories worth a total of RUB 6.9 billion. This project is expected to generate 1,600 additional jobs for the locals.
